ASSUMPTIONS:
pg. 3, paragraph 7 "In the years ahead it is clear that text, still dominant in education, will give way to a more intentional use of varied media for instruction."
Although technology is great, some may still have limited access or even if they do have access it may not be used or used effectively.
AGREE:
Page 6 states that "the ultimate educational goals will no longer be about the mastery of content (content will be available everywhere, anytime, electronically) but about the mastery of learning." We agree with this because 21st century skills don't just focus on memorization of facts but more so how to learn.
ARGUE Page 3 - "Instructional designers in the future will tailor their use of media to the task, to different kinds of learning, and different kinds of students."
We feel that this is not necessarily the future of available resources, but is happening now.
ASPIRE TO USE: "They will be prepared for a changing world, not a static one, prepared for the world in which they will actually live." Our world is changing so quickly and our students need to learn flexibility and how to not just accept change but to make the change.
